Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a science fiction movie and a sequel to the movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes released in 2011. The movie is directed by Matt Reeves and is a vivid and ferocious extension of Caesar's anxious pursuit for freedom.

The simian flu at the last moments of the movie and the events that ended the Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes killed majority of the human population after a decade. The Earth plunged into a new Dark Age in which the apes flourished. They considered considered humans as a big trouble. They resurrected their own residence and culture and have not seen a single human survivor in last couple of years.

Caesar unites the all the genetically evolved apes creates an impressive peaceful environment. However, when the apes are threatened by a group of some humans survivors, both the species make a peace agreement, which is quite fragile and short lived.

The movie focuses around the effects of violence on communities. The movie concludes to a tragic end once the human community comes into contact with the apes. Both the sides come on the verge of deadly war, to determine the most powerful and dominant species of Earth.

Maleficent

Maleficent is a fictitious character created in Walt Disney's movie Sleeping Beauty in 1959. She is a compelling fairy who lives in Moors, and in adolescence falls in love with Stefan (a human peasant boy). However, Stefan betrays her to capture the throne which ruins Maleficent.

She forms a dark tyrannical kingdom with Diaval as her one associate. The queen of Moor and Mistress of Evil comes to know about the newborn princess Aurora (daughter of King Stefan). Filled with hatred and revenge, Maleficent arrives uninvited to the royal christening and curses the newborn princess: on her sixteenth birthday before the sun sets, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die.

Frightened by the curse, Stefan pleads for his daughter. Fairy Merryweather, who had some powers, diminishes the curse so that Aurora will go to a deep slumber instead. Maleficent then offers a caveat – only a true loves kiss could awaken her.

Maleficent watches over Aurora grow in grace and beauty from afar and after fifteen years, realizes that she has grown fond of the princess. She attempts to revoke the curse but is unsuccessful. Aurora later falls in love with Prince Philip. On her 16th birthday, the curse starts taking affect on Aurora. Maleficent kidnaps Phillip and infiltrates Stefan's castle to have him kiss Aurora, but his romantic kiss had no effect. Maleficent breaks down and kisses her forehead, which causes Aurora to awaken. The movie then moves to a happy ending.

Messi to Premiere in Rio de Janeiro

Messi, a documentary from the renowned Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia will premiere on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is produced by Mediapro and scheduled in such a way that it is premiered during the FIFA World Cup 2014 tournament on an off day.

The documentary is scripted by one of Argentina's greatest soccer star Jorge Valdano, and uses historical footage of the only four-time FIFA/Ballons d'Or winner from the age of 4 onwards. The documentary had the patronage of soccer greats like Maradona, Johann Cruyff, Cesar Luis Menotti, Andres Iniesta and Alejandro Sabella and others.

Messi was born to a modest family in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina on Wednesday, June 24, 1987. He was a quick learner in his early childhood and a talented player with great future. However, at the age of 11, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. The Spanish club FC Barcelona acknowledged the potential in Messi, and paid all the bills of his treatment which was quite expensive.

Rambo V - Fifth movie of Rambo saga

Sylvester Stallone, who is well known for sequels, is all set to return to his iconic role in the fifth series of Rambo movies – Rambo V. In this movie, Stallone messes with the Mexican cartel. Splendid Films (German Movie company) confirmed that Stallone has started work on Rambo V, and has also written the screenplay of this movie himself.

The first movie of the Rambo saga was released in 1982 which was a major success. Down the years sequels of the Rambo series were produced and were also a great success. Rambo III earned $189 million while Rambo IV earned $113 million. While it was believed that Rambo IV would be the last movie of the Rambo saga, Stallone put hold to the rumors.

Stallone does not seem to be at peace with all his creations. At 67 years, he still has the enthusiasm for this genre, and his thirst for excellence has still not quenched.
